Big Adventure #2
Our second big adventure was walking down to the water front! We walked 4km with the three kids and they did amazing! They all had so much fun and loved the adventure. I cant wait to do it again! Here's some photos!
Big Adventure #1
This was our first big adventure (though there has been many mini adventures along the way). We decided to check out a new park Katrina and I had found the previous night while on a walk. Then we got side tracked ;) Oh, and by the way...we have now found SEVEN parks within walking distance! Amazing! The kids are LOVING it!

New home. New life.
We moved to our new home at the end of August! We are now a family of 6! We love having Katrina with us and we hope she is happy here too.
The move happened very fast. We moved everything in one day and unpacked in three! We don't quite yet have everything settled but a lot of it has to be a slow progress anyways.
We have made many changes since moving and it is all so exciting and awesome! We weaned ourselves from junk eating. Now we try and keep to a real food lifestyle! So far I am loving it! The kids never even noticed the change! Their behaviour has changed for the better with the elimination of sugar and processed foods.
I am also making changes with parenting and the kids. We no longer watch TV at all during the week. But we have morning cartoons on Saturdays and a movie night with the family sometime over the weekend. The positive change has been phenomenal! I try and stay busy with the kids. We go on many adventures and try to get outside at least once a day for a good chunk of time. We have been on hikes, exploring the neighbourhood, long walks downtown to the beach, and even apple picking together! I am loving it!
The next step is to completely finish setting up our new home. We still need to do some refinishing projects and such. Then I hope to be able to have friends and family over for visits, meet some new friends, and explore Barrie even further. I can't wait!
