Saturday morning we were up bright and early for garage saling! First we drove around Alliston to a few garage sales, but there wasn't much we found that we were looking for. Then we ventured on to Beeton and finally found a garage sale that had tons of kid stuff! Before we left, Gramma had given the two older kids each a little baggie of change so they could pick something out. Ella found a princess jewelry box and Kalan found a big ambulance toy. I found hundreds of books, looked through them, and found a bunch I thought the kids would like. It was a decent find! Later that afternoon we hung around town, playing at the park and in the yard.
Sunday we decided we would go to gibson hills for a little hike and water fight! We brough the water guns and a backpack full of "ammo". we had a blast! All of us we happy to be soaked in the car. It has been so hot out! It was still early when we had finished so we travelled back to Barrie and walked around the toy store and a party store. Once we were home we had a bit of a rest inside, though not for long! Soon the kids were begging to go back outside. So we played in the yard for a bit. I worked in the backyard, clearing it out so we have somewhere safe for the kids to play this summer. Then we got the kites out and took them to the park! So much fun!
It was a nice long weekend full of fun. The kids were great and happy. We all got a bit of sun. ;)
Unfortunately I dont have pictures to show since we were constantly GOGOGO. so maybe next time :) I will add a few photos from today though :)
