Thanksgiving. Love. Family.

Thanksgiving at my Dad's was amazing! Almost everyone was able to be there except for my older brother Matt. We missed him but still had lots of fun. We had great food, a tractor ride, a walk and then tag in the bush, pictures, and then fun and games outside (including sardines and my Dads homemade rocket launcher). LOVED LOVED LOVED it! We cant wait to see what's in store for Christmas there!

Parks parks everywhere!

Whenever AJ is at work and Katrina is around we have been going on "adventures" around the different areas close to where we live. It is amaaaaazing how many parks there are! So far we have walked to 6 parks within a 10 minute walk, and 4 parks within a 20-40 minute walk.

It is heaven for the kids! And I love it because we never get sick of the parks. We don't have enough days of the week to go to a different park each day. This move to Barrie has been so amazing for all of us. We really couldn't be happier! YAY!

Here is the most recent park we discovered. Its about a 20 minute walk and there seems to be a nature trail connected to it that we weren't able to check out that day because the sun was nearly set. We are hoping to go again this week!

Splish Splash

We have been so blessed so far this fall with amazing weather. Autumn is my all time favourite season and the weather just makes it so much better! This day in particular though, it rained and poured all day long. The kids usually need to get outside for at least a short time each day, and it keeps me sane, haha! So we decided we would have a fun walk around the neighbourhood and find puddles to splash in! The kids were happy to splash and check out all the worms who came out to play.
