Taking pictures...
Here are our Family photos from the cottage. And also photos AJ took of me with Seven. I passed my goal of breast feeding for over a year and it is something I am really proud of myself for sticking with it. It has not been easy, but I knew it was best for my sweet son. 13 months and counting!
Summer Vacation - Part 3
Friday July 5.
Friday was our last full day at the cottage. We declared it to be a day of doing whatever the kids wanted. It was an odd day for weather. It was hot, sunny, rainy, cloudy...and just really hot! So this day we went swimming and we finally got Seven to try it without screaming. He was so calm he ended up falling asleep....in the lake, in the rain! It was so sweet! Later on we were also able to convince Kalan to try swimming but he hated it and panicked. AJ took all the kids for sea-doo rides. Then we saw the duck family come back to the dock again so we fed them and watch them for a while. We all went hot tubbing, the kids jumped on the trampoline, and also on the beds. I worked on packing most of the day in between the fun. Then in the evening we finally settled in and had one last movie night with the kids.
Saturday July 6.
This day we went home. Just before we left Kalan was showing us how he knows his letters. We were all completely shocked. Ella didnt know any letters at his age and then BAM, we have Kalan telling us the letters in our names! So neat!
Our vacation was amazing. We all had such a good time. I loved being able to spend time with my family. I loved seeing my kids get excited and light up when they did all the fun things. I can't wait till next year when we can go again.
