Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day! The day where mothers all around the world are celebrated, appreciated, and treated with specialties! Whether you are a mother of children in your arms, in your womb, grown and gone, in heaven, or any other way where you have been blessed with the name of mother. Moms are amazing!

I am a mom. A mom of 3 wonderful children. I became a mom at 16. It is one of the things I am most proud of.

So today, I woke up to Ella giving me a beautiful picture she drew, Kalan giving me a piece of my broken ring for special, and Rob bringing flowers up from him and Carol! So special! AJ made dinner so I didnt have to, and we just had a regular day as a family. It has been nice.

The weather however, has been not so nice, at all. I'm missing the nice warm weather!

Rob and Carol did Kalan's Birthday celebration today! He got a fancy new bike! He LOVES it! Hopefully the weather will be better soon and we can take it outside so he can ride it around the block!

I also made Kalan's Birthday cake today! We wanted to do the cake today since AJ is working tomorrow on nights and Rob and Carol (in-laws) were both home too. His cake was a pirate ship theme! Kalan loves Jake the pirate. So here are some pictures of it! My first "fancy" cake I have made!
