This week AJ and I have just been trying to keep the kids occupied and out of cranky moods. We went on some driving adventures. Checking out new towns and long winding back roads. It was nice. We saw a swan swimming in a flooded fields and a ton of wild turkeys!
A few updates...and cute stories!
Aj is adorable. He can always make me smile. He knows about my OCD like tendencies and how I generally need things to be a certain way and have order. So anyways, on Tuesday, I told him that Seven just needs some socks and he would be ready for the day. After a few minutes of him being gone I went looking for him wondering why it was taking so long to find some socks. When I found him he was picking up pairs of socks, looking at them closely, then putting them back. I asked him what he was doing and he replied with, "I'm looking for Tuesday." He is so sweet! Gosh I love him.
Ella is so sweet. She says the cutest things. All the time! So today I told her she was so beautiful and she says, "You are beautiful too Mommy, really beautiful. But Kalan is just a tiny bit cute....this tiny bit." And she was holding up her fingers in a pinching motion. Haha! What a girl!
Kalan has had a rough week. He has been so emotional and has had terrible tantrums. It sometimes takes up to an hour to change him. I'm not sure what is wrong exactly, but I hope I can find something that will help him soon. I love him so much and hate to see him so unhappy so often.
Seven has been getting into everything! He climbs on and now off of the bed, climbs up in the window above the couch, climbs up on the toilet, climbs up the stairs, climbs onto a hutch by the couch, climbs on top of his ride on car and pulls himself onto the couch...it's crazy! It is so adorable, but scary to see him climbing! He needs to slow down. Seven also slept through the night for the first time this week, 8.5 hours! It was cool.
